Thinking about the poem
1. (i) “Beneath all uniforms……” What uniforms do you think the poet is speaking about? (मा uniform नि सोमोन्दै खन्थाइगिरिया बुंदों होनना नों सानों ?)
Ans : “By uniforms” the poet’ is speaking about the different dresses that people wear in different parts of the world.
(ii) How does the poet suggest that all people on earth are the same? (बुहुमाव थानाय गासै मानसियानो एखे होनना खन्थाइगिरिया माबोरै बोसोन होदों ?)
Ans : The poet suggests that all people on earth are the same. Because they have the same body, breathe the same air, and wake and sleep in the same away. They also eat in the same away. So, all people on the earth are same.
2. In stanza 1, find five ways in which we all are alike. Pick out the words. (खोन्दो आव, मोनबा राहा दिहुन जेराव जोंबयबो एखे। सोदोबफोरखौ बासि ।)

Ans : (i) They enjoy the same sun, air and water.

Ans : This will happen when we think ourselves different from others. Sometimes, some unscrupulous person with vested interests tell us to hate our brothers in order to serve their own selfish interest. We should not do as we are told by them. The poet says that when we hate others, we lose their love. We can win others through our love.
